Okay, so I've been missing from blogging awhile, or maybe not really awhile though, lol. So
HELLO people !
I'm back... This is gonna be my very first post then after been away from the blogging. Last month had an awesome weekend getaway with my both good friends! Meet both of them ;

x Jo Ee & Firbie x
Although my age and both of them are 2 years apart but it doesn't actually affect anything. Prolly, same level of maturity we all have then? Haha. :P
Anyways, this trip was actually planned about a year ago during AirAsia's last year's big deal, which is the only 10 cents fair. So basically, we got our flight tickets at a very good deal, which is only 10 cent! But of course, it doesn't cost 10 cents nett.
So, the trip !
It's only 45 minutes flight from KL to SIN, took MRT to the hotel, and omgahhh! Singapore had changed so much since the last time visited there, around 8 years back? I could say the MRT system is almost similar as Hong Kong, stations are mostly in a shopping mall. woots ! Firb's bf, Bran, came and greet us at the airport then lead us to the hotel. We stayed at Parc Sovereign Hotel around Bugis area for the trip, overall I shall rate it only at 3/5. There are few things that we wasn't really satisfied with our room ;
1. Toilet door got some stain that smells (I don't know what kind of stain & I don't wish to know either lol)
2. Not sufficient space allowance for luggage as the rooms are a bit small for the rate we're being charged
3. Breakfast are not included as well
I would actually not consider to go back there to stay on the next trip. x_x

In the late evening, Jo Ee and me headed to Orchard Road to meet up with my cousin sister, Joan with her daughter, Kristie. On the way to the nearest MRT station, we'd pass by Bugis Street. There's so many things there and everything are at very good price as you could bargain for lower price too ! Clothes offered there are almost similar as the clothes at Times Square and Sungei Wang, mostly at S$ 10/12.

This store really sell cheap fresh juices only at S$1 !
Dined in at this food court at ION Orchard called Food Opera, they had so many choices of delicious foods !I had their minced pork dried noodle, and Jo Ee ordered the beef noodles. Everything there really did make me wanna try it all. Price were quite reasonable as the portion of foods are quite huge, averaged at S$5. My cousin sister Joan and my niece Kristie,she's only 2 years younger than me x] came and ordered for us sort of like fish shape waffle with banana inside it. Tasted really good ! A def to have it again on the next time at Food Opera.

After the dinner, headed to 313@Somerset to have a drink at Blue Mountain Cafe. I had this drink called Hazelnut + ice blended coffee, the coffee tasted very strong, I'm a coffee person but somehow I can't take it, lol. They also had Kopi Luwak in their menu too.
Had a great evening on the 1st day at Singapore by catching up with Joan and Kristie ! Thank you for the treats and time spent on meeting up. x

UNIVERSAL STUDIOS SINGAPORE HERE I COME !
This day has finally arrived, one of my little dream to visit the USS ! It was my, and Jo Ee's very first time here at USS, so we're just plain excited much on the 2nd day.
Before heading to USS, we had our brunch, we woke up quite late around 11am at Albert St. food center together along w/ Firbie and Bran. Had one the best Lor Mee I ever tasted ! Super duper in love with the broth especially ! xx

HELLO USS !

One of the craziest roller coaster I ever seen. Tried the red but not the blue one as it was the scariest comparing to the red one. Almost fainted after the red ride, literally was so giddy right after getting down from the ride. So, do imagine what would happen after the blue one.

so me + jo ee, we're always camwhoring

Was so tempted to tried this potion drink out as it looks very yummz together along with that cute bottle ! Had the Love Potion No. 2.

Among all the rides, Transformers : The Ride is one of the best // craziest // awesome-pawsome ride ever in USS ! It's really worth the wait even if it's an hour wait. We didn't missed the parade in the evening as well, it's really interesting where all the cast of the themes in USS have their parade walk.
After the parade, headed to this huge candy store, C a n d y l i c i o u s. Very much of a every kids paradise. They sells many different types of candies inside and it's so colorful! I was very fascinated with the Candy tree outside the store actually, as I'm not really a candy-fan person.

Lollipopss !
During the night, had dinner at a local restaurant nearby Clarke Quay together along w/ Bran's parents. Nice local food there, I forgot what the restaurant name though. Bran's parent then dropped us by at Marina Bay Sand ! The view at night there is really breathtaking ! The mall, The Shoppes, is beautifullllll ! I loved that place.

On the last day, before our evening flight we had lunch at Antoinette, Mandarin Gallery. I've always wanted to try out this restaurant and finally did. Antoinette is famous for it's all-day breakfast and also their patisseries. I did fall in love every little bits of the restaurant, from the layouts of the restaurant to the foods.

Of course the main point of me going to Singapore and also a must thing to do at there is ; SHOPPING !!
Lucky I came back from Singapore still with some SGD in my wallet, so manage not to spent it all. Main aim is to buy clothes at H&M since Malaysia doesn't have it here, how sad right? But... I heard rumors that it's opening one in Malaysia in end of 2012 ! Hopefully its true ! *cross-fingers*

*tadaaaa* My Singapore bring-backs
